In the age of Diesel filtration an inline layout makes a lot of sense. Also note it features a new magical serpentine belt. (AC and power steering most likely). I want it.
EDIT: Man, this post is seeing a lot of views but very few comments. I guess I had better add some “facts” here to spice things up.
1. The engine code is LMAO
2. Injectors are anaphasic Botch type with Hypergolic actuators
3. Cooled EVA circuit
4. Hypereutectic crowns
5. Integrated soup warming canister
6. 245/450 number units
7. Built to have 600 hp and 1500 lbs feet but detuned at the factory for reasons.
8. Utilizes wireframe technology for extreme weight savings
9. Wideband fuel pressure regulator to lift and separate.
10. Integrated tertiary exhaust flow path regulators with downstream catatonic converters.
11. Minimum 55/25 mph highway/city
Well thats all we know about this engine for sure right now. check back later for other totally factual updates.

I miss my 3L I6 oil burner. Mine was made by BMW and a basketcase, but boy did it sound and feel good.

I just wish that it wouldn’t be a diesel engine. The world needs more spark ignited inline-6s.

The Crank Balancer is a fluid damper imported from Germany.

Excited to see these on the market. Wondering if it will be available as a crate option or how long it takes to see them pulled from wrecked trucks for engine swaps! I think a 3.0l I6 is a great size and proportion for lots of applications.

Well, the Germans know their way around an i6

I heard ram hid an even better one in their truck but no one has been able to find it yet

This engine sees duty in the Holden Colorado. Getting the soup out without spilling some on the exhaust manifold is almost impossible. There are rumours of a class action...

Facts, dude facts don’t matter anymore, you just tell people you are a genius or say things are the best.

I would totally swap this into something instead of an LS.

Why don’t you mention it’s made out of translucent material?

Do you know where this engine is sourced/built? Is it another VM Motorini like the 2.8 in the Canyorado?
